Become a customer without Mobile BankID
If you do not have Mobile BankID, are over 18 years old and reside in Sweden, you can apply to become a customer by filling out the form below.
Once you have completed the form below, we will call you to find out more about your situation and needs. We will then arrange a meeting with you at your nearest Nordea branch.
When you become a customer, you will receive our everyday banking package, Vardagspaketet, with a personal account and a bank card. It costs 39 SEK per month.

Checklist to prepare before the meeting
- At the meeting, you will need to be able to identify yourself with a valid Swedish identity document such as a passport, driver’s licence or national ID card.
- If you do not have a Swedish identity document: Bring a valid foreign passport showing your citizenship. It must have been issued by a government agency or other competent issuer.
- If you have a coordination number, please bring, besides ID, an A-tax certificate from Swedish Tax Agency showing your coordination number.
- If you are a foreign student, please bring, besides ID, proof of admission from your university or other higher education institution. It must specify the duration of your studies.
- Besides providing ID, you will need to be able to explain how your account and engagements with Nordea will be used. You will also need to state the origin of the money that will be deposited into the account. You might also be asked to submit documentation supporting this.
