The form can be used to close up to five Nordea accounts. If you are going to switch banks, you need to contact your new bank instead for assistance with closing the accounts.
It can take up to ten working days before we contact you regarding the closure.
You can use the form below to close the following account types: Personkonto, Sparkonto, Sparkonto Extra, Checkkonto (SEK) and Aktielikvidkonto (SEK).
Conditions:
- You need to be of legal age
- You need a Mobile BankID
- The account must be in Swedish kronor (SEK)
- The account cannot have a bank passbook
- The account to which the money is transferred must be a Swedish bank account.
If you do not know your account number, you can enter your personal identity number in the account number field.
When the account is closed
Once the account is closed, any services connected to the account will be terminated, such as bank cards, Swish, direct debit and automatic transfers.
If all accounts are closed, Nordea’s Internet and telephone service will also be terminated.
