Nordea ID device – if you can’t use Mobile BankID
The Nordea ID device can be used in our Netbank. Closer to summer, it can also be used for identification when talking to our customer service team and to confirm card purchases when shopping online. The Nordea ID device cannot be used to obtain or renew a Mobile BankID.
The Nordea ID device has a camera to scan QR codes when logging in and confirming actions. The device is personal, which means that only you can or should use it.
You only need a Nordea ID device if you don’t have a smartphone or if you for some other reason cannot use a Mobile BankID, which is the security solution we mainly recommend. You can easily obtain a Mobile BankID by means of a personal code. For more information visit nordea.se/mobiltbankid (information in Swedish).
