- How do I make a payment to Plusgiro or Bankgiro?
You go to Payments & transfers in the menu. If you have saved the recipient you can select it in the dropdown menu where it says “To”, otherwise fill in the Plusgiro or Bankgiro number in the Account number field.
- How do I make a salary payment?
You go to Payments & transfers in the menu. When you’ve filled in the recipient’s account number, select Payment type: Salary.

- How do I redeem a money order?
You can send Plusgiro and Bankgiro money orders to us to have the money deposited, free of charge, into your own Nordea account. Depositing it into an account at another bank can be done through “Kassagiro” (Cashgiro) agents.
This is how to redeem it at Nordea:
Write your account number clearly on the front of the money order. For security reasons, do not sign it on the back. Then, send the money order in a stamped envelope to the address below. The money is usually deposited into your account within 2–4 weekdays.

- Which payment periods apply?
When you’re logged into Nordea Business, you can find our cut-off times by selecting Payments in the menu at the top. Then, select “Payments & transfers”, or “International payments” and you’ll see the different cut-off times in the box to the right.
- What cut-off times apply for Corporate Access Lite?
Domestic payments need to be signed by the times listed below, if you want the receiver to get access to the funds on the same day:
- Plusgiro – 4.30 p.m.
- Bankgiro – 09.15 a.m.
- Transfer within Nordea – 4.30 p.m.
- Transfer to an account in another bank – 12.15 p.m.
The payment types Salary or Pension need to be signed no later than 11.30 p.m. on the day before the entry date (two business days before the day when the receiver gets access to the funds)
International payments within the EU/EEA need to be signed by 3.00 p.m. to reach the receiver the next day, and international payments outside the EU/EEA must be signed by 2.30 p.m. to arrive on the second day after signing.
Express payments are an exception – they must be signed by 1.15 p.m. for the payment to reach the receiver on the next day.
