- When can I start using my new Plusgiro account?
On the business day after your PlusGiro account has been set up, you can start to accept and make payments in Nordea Business.
If you try to make a payment on the same day as when the account is being set up, you will receive the message “Check account number”. In that case, it’s best to wait a day before registering the payment.
- How do I add access rights to Nordea Business?
The appointed administrator for Nordea Business can quickly and easily manage access rights for different users in the company.
The administrator goes to Manage Users and makes the changes in access rights, which is activated immediately.
- Where do I find my account details?
You can find all the information about your account here in Nordea Business.
Go to the account you wish to know more about and click on Show account details. There you can find IBAN and BIC/Swift for receiving money from abroad, clearing number and the 14-digit account number of your Plusgiro account.
- Where can I find my Bankgiro number?
You can find your Bankgiro number through Nordea Business when you’ve received your first incoming bankgiro payment. You can then click on the transaction, and will see the option “Go to Bankgiro”. You’re then linked to Bankgirocentralen, where you can see your Bankgiro number at the top right, next to your company name.
- How do I make a payment to Plusgiro or Bankgiro?
You go to Payments & transfers in the menu. If you have saved the recipient you can select it in the dropdown menu where it says “To”, otherwise fill in the Plusgiro or Bankgiro number in the Account number field.
- How do I make a salary payment?
You go to Payments & transfers in the menu. When you’ve filled in the recipient’s account number, select Payment type: Salary.
- How do I make an international payment?
You make a international payment by going to Payments in the menu.
The information usually needed is: the recipient’s name and address, account number (in IBAN format, for countries that have introduced IBAN) and the BIC/Swift of the receiving bank.
If you don’t know the bank's BIC address, enter the bank’s name and address and, in some cases, also a bank code.
- How do I pay by direct debit?
You register directly with the payee company that you want to draw money automatically from your account. This is done over the payee’s website or by using a paper authorisation form. Usually, you need the full bank account number, including the clearing number. To find you bank account number you need to go the account to be used for payments, and you’ll find the full bank account number, including the clearing number, by clicking on Show account detalis.
- Sometimes, I get logged out automatically. Why?
If you’ve been inactive and haven’t done anything in Nordea Business in the past five minutes, you will be automatically logged out for security reasons.
If you’ve been logged out and receive the message “You’ve been logged out because of inactivity in Nordea Business for more than five minutes” even though five minutes haven’t passed, try to:
- Empty the cache and cookies.
- Restore the browser.
- Try a different browser.
