Nordea ID device – if you can’t use Mobile BankID
The Nordea ID device can be used
- in our netbank
- for identification when talking to our customer service team
- to confirm card purchases when shopping online.
The Nordea ID device cannot be used to obtain or renew a Mobile BankID.
The Nordea ID device has a camera to scan QR codes when logging in and confirming actions. The device is personal, which means that only you can or should use it.
You only need a Nordea ID device if you don’t have a smartphone or cannot use a Mobile BankID, which is the security solution we recommend. You can easily obtain a Mobile BankID by means of a personal code. See more information about Mobilt BankID here (information in Swedish).
